"Mrs. Frank R. Schantz Is Dead.

Mrs. Eva Lovina Schantz, 47, wife of Frank Schantz, died at the Schantz home five miles south of Washington Sunday morning about nine o'clock.

Her death was unexpected. She had not been well for several months, but was able to be about her home as usual until Thursday of last week, when she became ill, but her illness was not believed to be so serious.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock, in charge of Rev. W. J. Stevens of the Christian Tabernacle at the L. A. Jones funeral home.

Mrs. Schantz was a daughter of August and Carrie (Miller) Womelsdorf and was born at Grundy Center, Iowa, June 28, 1895. The family moved to the Noble community when she was a young girl and she attended the Eicher school. She was married at Wayland Dec. 16, 1916, to Frank Schantz.

Surviving her are her husband, one daughter, Ruth Schantz, and her mother, Mrs. Carrie Womelsdorf. She attended the Christian Tabernacle in Washington."
