Steven L. Roth, 53, of Gassville, Ark, died Tuesday, July 29, 1997 at Baxter County Regional Hospital. He was born April 25, 1944 at Crawfordsville, Iowa, the son of Everett J. and Margaret J. (Kremer) Roth. He married Lea Farley Roth on August 23, 1964 at Denver, COl.. He was a ranch owner and a former resident of Wayland, Iowa. He had been a resident of Gassville since 1971.

Survivors are his parents, Everett J. and Margaret J. Kremer Roth; his wife Lea Farley Roth; one son, Steve Roth of Gassville, one daughter, Jessi Dutton of Mountain Home, Ark: three sisters, Sandra Paul, Colorado Springs; Joan Hershberger of Midway, Ark, and Chris Walker of Gassville, Ark.
