From Funeral Pamphlet – June 22, 1979

Mrs. Harold (Ruth) Hulme, 82, Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday June 20, 1979 at 9:20 A.M. at the Henry County Health Center. She was born September 1, 1896 near Trenton, the daughter of James W. and Mattie Kauffman Bates. On January 6, 1917, she was married to Harold Hulme at her family home near Trenton. Her husband died March 28, 1972. She was a member of the Finley United Methodist Church, Rebekah Lodge, and Mt. Pleasant Woman’s club.

Surviving are one daughter, Beulah Hulme, of Mt. Pleasant and one brother, Bernard K. Bates of Route 5, Mt. Pleasant.

Funeral services will be held Friday June 22 at 10:30 A.M. at the Beatty Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Schultz pastor of the Finley church officiating. Interment will be in the Finley cemetery.

Friends may call as they desire after noon on Thursday at the Beatty Funeral Home. A memorial in her memory may be made to the Finley cemetery.
