First building north of the Brazelton House Block is the Singer business House for years one of the land marks of Mt. Pleasant. This building is now partitioned off making two rooms, the south room is occupied by Mr. Grau for store and cigar manufacturing.

Mr. Grau was born in Henry county, educated here and here commenced and continues his business, small at first but growing all the time, so that now the product of his skill and handiwork is recognized as first class and commands a ready sale.
