Permit Granted For Filling Station

An application made by Glen Nihart to build and operate a filling station at the southwest corner of the square in the location now occupied by Horr barber shop was received by the city council Wednesday evening and permit was given to build the station as specified.

Mr. Nihart has bought the property, which was owned by Ernest Straub and expects to remodel the building and construct a modern service station as soon as possession is obtained. The building is leased at present by Frank Walker.

Mr. Nihart is now manager of the Sinclair service station just across east from the new location. Mr. Straub who has been living in the second story rooms of the Straub building expects to remain there.
