BUSINESS MEN SHUFFLE UP.
A Number of Changes of Location Noted-
More Vacant Buildings for Rent.

Quite a number of changes of business locations are noted today. The real estate firm of Bowman, Holland & Harlan will soon move from their present location on North Main Street into the second story room over the new Garvin & Hughes store, now occupied by the dressmaking rooms of Mrs. Pontius. The room is being fitted up in nice shape and will be a model of convenience.

Mrs. Davidson has about concluded to move her China store from the present location in the Andrews building across the street to the rooms to be vacated by Bowman, Holland & Harlan.

Mrs. Pontius will probably move into the rooms lately occupied by Mrs. Northup over the postoffice, or perhaps into the rooms over the grocery store of Mr. Grant on North Jefferson Street.

Mr. Thorson will move his tailor shop from his present location to the rooms over Roberts China store on North Main Street.

These moves together with the removal of the Mt. Pleasant Academy from North Main Street to the north side of the square, and the removal of Koch’s shoe store from the south side to the north side will cause considerable changing about for the next month. The first of the year the big store of Garvin & Hughes will be consolidated with the new store recently opened at the old Hargrave stand. There are several other changes that are being contemplated.
