Old Land Mark At Oakland Will Soon Be Gone.

Oakland, Ia., Nov. 16. – (Special to The News.) – The flouring mill and factory at Oakland are both being torn down and the debris shipped to Pine Ridge farm south of Salem, two car loads going over by way of the K Line Tuesday morning. These buildings have long been familiar land marks which have withstood the test of time and weather and are still well preserved and much valuable material is being taken from them.
