STATE NEWS

The Mt. Pleasant Home Journal says a son of Pat Toomye, playing along Big Creek with some boys, found a crevice in the rock and concluded to have a blast, went home, got some powder, out it in a posish, and by means of a rag he set on fire touching her off, and was nearly blown to pieces.
