FINAL RIGHTS HELD SATURDAY FOR AUGUST TRESEMER

August Carl Tresemer, 75, passed away early Thursday morning at his home following several months of declining health.

He was born December 8, 1877 in Germany, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Tresemer, both deceased. His parents came to the United States when he was a small boy and located here.

He was united in marriage to Miss Alvina Zielske, January 5, 1905. They farmed wet of Eldora for 23 years before moving to Eldora where they have since resided.

Surviving are his wife, one sister, Mrs. Otis Haynes of Cedar rapids, two brothers, Albert Tresemer and Herman Tresemer, both of Rockford, Ill.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon the Andrle and Creps Funeral Home with Rev. L.R. Schuler officiating. Burial was in the Eldora Cemetery.

The flowers were cared for by Mrs. J.L. Cameron, Mrs. D.W. Dickinson and Mrs. Eldon McVeety. Vocalist was Donald LaVelle with Mrs. C.R. Johnson at the organ. Pallbearers were Eldon McVeety, D.W. Dickinson, Ed Tresemer, Warner Tresemer, J.D. Leonard and John A. Wood.
