ACKLEY - Funeral services for Mark R. Eilderts, 30, of Fort Lewis, Wash., son of Wendell Eilderts of Newton, were held Tuesday, April 30, at St. John's United Church of Christ in Ackley.

Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Ackley.

Brandt-Fritz Funeral Home in Ackley was in charge of arrangements.

Also surviving are his wife a son, a daughter, his mother, a brother, five sisters, his paternal grandparents, his maternal grandparents and a great-grandmother.

Mr. Eilderts died April 19 in Puerto Rico. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News2 May 1991.
