FROM IOWA FALLS

Special Dispatch to the Dubuque Times
IOWA FALLS, IOWA, May 20

About 12 o’clock last night our town was roused by the alarm of fire-fortunately something very unusual with us. The brick building of Woodworth Bros., west end of Main Street, used as a storeroom, and containing buggies, sleighs, &c., was destroyed. Loss of stock probably about $1,000; on building $3,500, on which was about $2,000 insurance. The adjoining frame building was saved by a prompt use of Babcock fire extinguisher.
