The Boughton Funeral Home received a telegram Wednesday morning from Painesville, Ohio, stating that Charles Littler is dead and the body is being shipped to Britt for burial Saturday in Evergreen cemetery. No further information is forthcoming at this time. There was a family of Littlers lived here forty years ago and Gene Littler is buried here.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Littler, of Moorhead, Minn., accompanied the body of Mr. Littler's father, the late Charles E. Littler, from Painesville, Ohio, to Britt, where funeral services were conducted at the Boughton Funeral Home on Saturday and burial made in the family lot in Evergreen cemetery, the Rev. B. A. Rust and the officers of Protection Lodge I.O.O.F. giving the rites. This was the first burial made in Evergreen cemetery in 1944. Mr. Littler tarried for a day to greet the few remaining old time friends and then he and his wife left for their home at Moorhead.
