Grave services for Lois Kann

Lois Kann, 90, longtime resident of Fairfield died Sunday evening at the Nelson Nursing Home.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Clair Odell will officiate. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. this evening at the Raymond Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church.

Lois Kann was born July 21, 1893, at Britt. She was the daughter of George and Grace Lentner Henry. She spent most of her life in Fairfield and graduated from the Fairfield High School.

She was a bookkeeper and operator at the Fairfield Telephone Co. for a number of years. She was a member of the United Metodist Church and the Philathea Class.

Her marriage to Bert Kann took place Sept. 8, 1915, at Ottumwa. He died Aug. 11, 1972.

Surviviors include a son, Albert, Fairfield; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter and two sisters.
