Death At The Hospital

Albert Zeismer, of Ventura, died at the hospital Friday morning of intestinal complications. He had been complaining for several weeks but had been able to assist with the work up to Wednesday when he was suddenly seized with pains and compelled to take to his bed.

On Thursday he was brought to the hospital and it was decided that an operation would bring relief, but his condition growing worse, the operation was postponed until he had sufficient strength to withstand its effects. Death came as a relief.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. August Zeismer, of Ventura, and was born in Joliet in 1893. He was a young man held in high esteem by all his acquaintances, and his untimely death is a sad blow to the family.

His funeral was held Saturday, and was said to be one of the largest ever held in Ventura, the entire community paying a last tribute to his memory.
