DEATHS

Mrs. Tilda Olson Ringstad of Jewell died at Story City Memorial Hospital at 6:50 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19. She had been a patient there since Oct. 10.

She was born at Ellsworth 81 years ago and had lived most of her life in Hamilton Count with the exception of a few years at Eagle Grove. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olai, and an infant son. She was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church in Jewell and of the mission society.

Surviving are three sons: Clifford J. of Mount Clemons, Mich., Vernon W. of Los Angeles, Calif. and Ray O. of Webster City, eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Hillestad of Aurora, Ill. and Mrs. Cecil Bruner of Ellsworth; four brothers, Omer and Arthur Olson, both of Ellsworth; Oscar of Clairmont, Calif. and Lawrence of Aurora, Ill.

Funeral services were held Friday, October 21 at 2 p.m. from the Bethesda Lutheran Church in Jewell with Rev. Norbert Jolivette officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery at Jewell. Becker Funeral Home in Jewell was in charge of arrangements.
