DEATHS

Henry Anderson, age 65 years of Jewell, died at the Story City Memorial Hospital at 11:50 a.m. on Saturday, July 9 where he had been a patient since July 25.

Anderson was born at Randall and on March 12, 1924 was united in marriage to Katie Koop of Jewell and the couple farmed near Jewell. He was a member of the Bethesda Lutheran Church in Jewell.

His wife Katie and eight children survive - five daughters, Mrs. Hairl Whitely of Winton, Calif., Mrs. Vernon Stubbs of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Ronald Olson, Salem, Va., Mrs. Russell Ambrose and Mrs. Jack Beehrle, both of Webster City; three sons, Franklin Anderson of Amarillo, Texas, Sterling Anderson of Des Moines and Henry Anderson, Jr., of Webster City. Twenty eight grandchildren, two brothers, Ben Anderson of Randall and Joe Anderson of Des Moines also survive.

A son, LeRoy, preceded him in death.

Funeral was Wednesday, July 13 at 2 p.m. from Bethesda Lutheran Church, Jewell with Rev. Norbert Jollevette officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery at Jewell.

Becker Funeral Home, Jewell was in charge of arrangements.
