MRS. MARY HANSEN

Emilie Marie Sofie Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Hansen, was born Sept. 8, 1875, at Tustrup Sjelland, Denmark. Mrs. Hansen, 85, died Dec. 12 of this year at the farm home of her son, Herman Hansen of near Williams, of a lingering illness. Mrs. Hansen was baptized in the Lutheran church in Denmark and was confirmed in the same church.

Emilie Marie Sofie Hansen married Hans Peter Hansen in New York City on April 20, 1906.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Harry.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. John (Dora) Thinesen of Sandstone, Minn.; two sons, Thorvald of Fort Dodge and Herman of Williams; six grandsons, one granddaughter and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Hansen were held at the Scott funeral chapel, Alden, Thursday, Dec. 15, with internment at the Buckeye cemetery. Pastor Charles Hulsether of Williams officiated. Pallbearers were her six grandsons, Virgil and Richard Hansen, Rex, Ralph, Philip, and John Thinesen.
