A.M. ERICKSON, STRATFORD, DIES AFTER OPERATION

STRATFORD, Iowa - Alfred M. Erickson, 60, passed away Wednesday about 4:30 a.m. at the hospital in Boone. He had been in the hospital for two weeks following an operation for appendicitis. His condition seemed to be improving when he died suddenly.

Mr. Erickson is survived by his wife [Edith Carlson] and five children, Mrs. Blanche Meunch, of Boxholm, Roland, Waldon, Norman and Delores, all of Stratford. He was a widely known farmer and had lived in the Stratford community for many years. No funeral arrangements have been made yet.
