Lawrence S. Arneson

Lawrence S. Arneson, 53, of Story City died Sunday at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames.

He lived in the Story City-Ellsworth area until retiring in 1976, at which time he moved to Story City. He was a veteran of World War II.

Arneson is survived by his wife, the former Bernita Meimann; by his parents, Bert and Bella Arneson; two sons, Keith of Ames and Craig of Story City; two sisters, Lola (Mrs. Dick) Bergeson of Newton and Betty (Mrs. Don) Hanson of Radcliffe and two brothers, Carroll of Ellsworth and Eugene of Tucson, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Brice Lynn.

Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Cecelia's Catholic Church in Ames, and will be preceded by a prayer service Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home in Story City.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Jewell.
