Marcy Shehorn, 82, of Webster City, died Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Windsor Manor. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Pastor Jeff Flagg, officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services on Monday at the funeral home.

Alice Marcella Proctor, was born March 30, 1936 in Griswold, the daughter of Maurice and Norma Baker Proctor. She was a 1954 graduate of Woolstock High School. She married Alan Dale Shehorn on January 8, 1955 at the Woolstock Methodist Church. The couple resided in Webster City. Marcy was employed at various businesses in town including Fareway, The Villa Clothing Store, Electrolux and Dunns Super Value. She worked for almost 25 years at Van Diest Supply, retiring in 2000.

Marcy is survived by her husband, Alan of Webster City; son, Shelby (Virginia Kloberdanz) Shehorn of Webster City; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheryl Shehorn; daughter-in-law, Denise Shehorn and sister, Lois Sandt.

She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, the Red Hat Club, the Hospital Auxiliary and a former member of the Moose Family Center. Marcy enjoyed ballroom dancing, playing bridge, jig saw puzzles and traveling, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
