Mrs. Coleman Dies in City

Mrs. N.H. Coleman, 53, died at 9:40 a.m. Thursday at Hamilton county hospital. While she had been in poor health about a year, her death was very sudden.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Foster's with Rev. J.A. Farnham officiating and burial in Cass Center cemetery.

Edna Luetta Scheetz, daughter of William and Mary Louise Scheetz, was born March 5, 1895 at Modomara, Woodruff county, Ill. When she was seven, she came with her parents to Iowa and they located on a farm five miles northeast of Webster City. She was educated and reared in that community.

On June 15, 1913 she was united in marriage to Norval Howard Coleman, and the couple started farming in Wright county for four years, then moved to Blairsburg township where they resided on a farm for seven years. Three years ago the family moved into Webster City, and had been making their home at 300 First street.

Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Ann, who died May 3, 1926, and also by her parents. She is survived by her husband; five sons and three daughters: George William of Webster City; Norval Clay of Edinburg, N.D.; Virgil J.H. of Webster City; Myrll, who is a corporal in the armed service located at the present time at Seattle, Wash.; Richard Donald, at home; Margie Iola of Webster City; Mrs. Mary Jane Eberhart of Webster City; Edna Avon, at home. Also surviving are three grandchildren, David Owen Eberhart, Marcia Elizabeth Coleman and Phillip Charles Coleman, and one sister, Mrs. Gordon Bentley of Blairsburg.

She was baptized in the Lutheran faith when she was a young girl, but has been a member of the Methodist church in this city. She was a member of the Rebekah lodge and was a past noble grand of that organization. She was also a member of the Royal Neighbors and the V.F.W. auxiliary.

A loving wife and mother, whose main interests in life were her home and family, Mrs. Coleman was also known as a generous, helpful neighbor. Her many friends she has made during her long residence in this county, will miss her as greatly as the immediate family.
