Robert Sealine was born May 12, 1918 in Stanhope, the son of Arvid and Elma (Bockwoldt) Sealine. He attended Grandview Rural Schools and was a 1936 graduate of Stanhope High School. He served in the United States Army. He married Marjorie Sandal on March 21, 1943 in Stanhope. To this union, a daughter was born, Andrea (Andie) Sealine. The couple farmed in the Stanhope and Kamrar area. Marjorie preceded him in death on January 2, 1959. Bob married Marie Evans on December 4, 1965 in Webster City. Marie preceded him in death on December 4, 1994. He retired from farming on November 1, 1984 and moved to Rochester in 2006.

Bob was an avid outdoorsman with hunting being his chosen recreation. Whether it was bagging the trophy elk in Wyoming, the big buck along the Boone River or hunting pheasants and quail in Iowa, he loved being outdoors. He took many trips on his Harley to Sturgis and several trips with his grandson. He loved to travel the United States visiting National Parks and friends along the way. Bob was proud that he had traveled to all 50 states and some trips to Europe with the local bank. In his younger years, he participated in horse shows and was an avid amateur photographer. After retirement you could find Bob visiting the patients at the local hospital and nursing home. He enjoyed all his friends from the church and could be found eating tacos on Taco Tuesdays at the local restaurant.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Andrea (Curt) Sanders of Rochester, MN; grandson, Brad (Tammy) Verbrugge of Polk City; and three great-grandchildren, Allyson, Zachary and Zane.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two wives, Marjorie Sealine and Marie Sealine, a sister, Clara Sutton and brother-in-law, Rev. Lew Sutton.

Robert was a life member of Asbury United Methodist Church.

The family would like to thank Seasons Hospice House for the excellent care they showed Bob for the last 17 months.
