Deloris Christensen, 82, of Boone and the Eastern Star Masonic Home, died Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Home.

A visitation, with the family present, will be held Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 5 until 7 P.M. at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall. A graveside service and burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Elmwood Cemetery in rural Renwick.

Deloris (Hugo) Christensen, was born on the family farm near Britt, Iowa on August 24, 1935, the daughter of Fred and Hertha (Monse) Hugo. She graduated from Woden High School in Woden, Iowa in 1953. Deloris was united in marriage to Cameron Christensen on May 24, 1953 in Woden. Deloris worked in the purchasing and personal department at Hamilton County Hospital for thirty years until her retirement in 1995. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1980; sister, Jeanette Hugo and brother, Fred Hugo. Deloris is survived by her three daughters, Julia Eichman and husband, William of Neosho, Missouri, Christy Christensen of Boone and Tracy Christensen of Boone; four grandchildren, Jason Christensen, Cameron Olson, and Charissa and Christopher Eichman and four great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the family in memory of Deloris.
