Carolyn (Mrs. Larry) Willson, 54, Johnston, a former Webster City resident, died Saturday, March 19 at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. She had been a patient for four weeks and had been in failing health for one year.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 22 at 1:30 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home, with Rev. Robert Lake officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. today at the Foster Funeral Home, after which time the casket will be closed.

Carolyn Joan Fredericksen, daughter of Christian Caroline Clemmonsen [Clemonsen in other family member obits] Fredericksen, was born Aug. 24, 1933 at Webster City. She graduated from Webster City High School and had been employed by the S & M Finance Company.

On Nov. 24, 1951, she married Larrry Willson at Webster City. The family resided here until 1962. She was employed as a receptionist at the Hamilton County Hospital.

For the past 10 years, they have resided at Johnston. She was an administrative secretary at the Bishop Drumm Care Center in Johnston.

Survivors are her husband; two sons and two daughters, Larry of Minneapolis, Cathy of Johnston, Peggy (Mrs. Craig) Riecken of Ames, Mark of Windom, Minn.; eight grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers, Lillian (Mrs. Virgil) Gage of Webster City, Betty (Mrs. James) Hill of Stanhope, Harold Fredericksen of Webster City, James Fredericksen of Santa Ana, Calif., Chris Fredericksen of Davenport.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother [Marvin].

She was a member of the United Church of Christ-Congregational of Ankeny. Memorials may be sent to the Bishop Drumm Foundation of Johnston.
