Bobby D. Caudle, 86, of Ellsworth died January 24 at the Hubbard Care Center. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 on Monday January 29 at the Soderstrum-Reimers Funeral Home in Jewell. There will be a prayer service at 6:45.

Bobby was born on September 25, 1931 in Williams, Iowa to Robert Lee and Ruby Belle (Wilson) Caudle. He married Ramona D. Sanford on September 25, 1952. She died February 29, 2012. Bobby owned and operated his own plumbing and heating and cooling business in Ellsworth for many years and was a long time member of Ellsworth Fire Department. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. Bobby enjoyed hunting, gardening and was a very good fisherman.

He is survived by three sons, Randy (Dawn) Caudle of Story City; Reggie (Hope) Caudle of Ellsworth and Robert (Christine) Caudle of Ellsworth; a daughter, Debra (Jaime) Caudle-Chavira of Ellsworth; 10 grandchildren, Nikkolette Crabtree, Samantha Schuler, Austin Schuler, Dawn Sunmire, Jayson Caudle, Bobby Caudle, Jr., Roci Caudle, Chandra Flattebo, Carissa Chaisson, and Sherri Chaisson and 18 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife and a sister, Roma Lea Dyad. [this is a typo - her name is Dyvad]
