Pete Kloberdanz, 58, of Lehigh, died Thursday, December 21, 2017 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Jane Berry officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Dennis Peter Kloberdanz was born January 20, 1959, in Webster City, the son of Jacob and Dolores Davis Kloberdanz. He attended Webster City Schools. Pete was joined in holy matrimony to Andrea Johnson on September 4, 2004 in Lehigh. Pete and Andrea shared their love for their dogs, cats and other animals. Pete had an adventurous spirit, loved to travel. Pete lived in Japan and Missouri for a time. He once rode his bike to Colorado and back going through Missouri and Kansas on the way. Pete has a passion for collecting old tools, knickknacks and other items of “treasure”. Pete and Andrea would go on the Highway 141 garage sale to find more treasures. They love to camp and spend time in the outdoors enjoying everything nature had to offer. Pete owned and operated his carpentry business for most of his working life. One of Pete’s favorite saying was “Good job guys” whether it was or not. Pete cherished the time he got to spend with his nieces and nephews. Pete was a very loving uncle and friend to every one of his family and friend’s children.

Pete is survived by his wife Andrea of Lehigh; step-daughter, Brandi Johnson; siblings, Karen Orr, Alex (Kathy Armstrong) Kloberdanz, Donald (Sara) Kloberdanz, Margaret Orr, Dolores (James) Yenck, Jerry (Lori) Kloberdanz, Linda (Dan Myers) Kloberdanz, Virginia (Shelby Shehorn) Kloberdanz and Michael Kloberdanz; half-sister, Carrie (Darin) Jacobs; step-mother, Shirley Kloberdanz; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
