Mrs. Abbie A. Urich, 68, longtime resident of Webster City, died at 11:30 Wednesday evening at the Hamilton county hospital where she had been a patient the past week. She had been in ill health for 10 years.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Brethren church, with the Rev. A.E. Rau officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Foster funeral home until 10:30 a.m. Saturday when the body will be taken to the church.

Abbie McPherson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McPherson, was born April 21, 1892 at Ticona, Iowa, and was reared and educated in that community. She later moved to the Webster City community. She was united in marriage in 1910 to Charles Urich and to this union six daughters and five sons were born. One son, Charles, and one daughter, Helen, preceded her in death.

She is survived by five daughters and four sons: Raymond Urich, Artesia, N.M.; Mrs. Arnold (Alice) Eide, Webster City; Ethel Urich, Webster City; Mrs. Wayne (Vivian) Schuh, Fort Dodge; Mrs. Ed (Mary) Feeley, Eagle Grove; Lloyd Urich, Webster City; Merle Urich, Webster City, Leslie Urich, Des Moines; Mrs. Lester (Betty) Helveston, Dover N.H.; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Bueoy, Fort Dodge.

Besides the one son and one daughter, she was preceded in death by three grandchildren and her parents.

Mrs. Urich was a member of the United Brethren church.
