Harriet Jean Thompson, daughter of Ivan and Lillian [Leopold] Thompson, was born June 22, 1920, on a farm three miles north of Stonega and grew to young womanhood in that community.

She was united in marriage August 3, 1940, to Maundo Campidilli, and the couple resided in Lehigh for two years before moving to the Mulberry Center community where the family engaged in farming.

Mrs. Campidilli died April 3 at Mercy hospital in Fort Dodge at the age of 43.

Funeral services for Mrs. Campidilli were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 7th at the Foster funeral home with the Rev. A.E. Rau officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Mrs. Darl Dahlgren was vocal soloist, and Mrs. Gerald Caquelin was organist. Pallbearers were Larry Brownfield, Gary Brownfield, Robert Butler, Robert Campidilli, Bill Campidilli and Rick Koestner.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Sheri Campidilli, at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Thompson; one brother and three sisters, Cecil Thompson of Vincent, Iowa; Mrs. Alvin Butler, Webster City, Mrs. Estelle Brownfield, Webster City, and Mrs. Daniel Rasmussen of Des Moines; and a number of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

Mrs. Campidilli was a member of the Mulberry EUB church, the Helping Hand club and the Town and Country Garden club.
