Mass of the Resurrection was held Tuesday at 9;30 am honoring Frank Joseph Bose, 64, of Yale. He died by suicide September 1 at his farm home west of Yale.
Fr Joe Schulte, pastor of the St Cecilia Catholic Church of Panora, officiated at the service which was held in the Panora Church. A scripture service was held Monday evening at the Fouch Funeral home in Yale. Interment for the Yale native was made in St Mary's Cemetery at Jamaica. The casket was carried by nephews, Kevin and Danny Deardorff; Mike, Jim and Kenneth Bose, and Phil Vanderhaar.
Born July 8, 1913, he was the son of Joseph and Marie Bose. He has lived all his life in the Yale area where he was a farmer. He was a member of St Cecilia's church as well as the Yale Community Cub and the Saddle Club.
Mr. Bose is survived by sister, Anna (Mrs. Clem) Vanderhaar of Des Moines and Bertha (Mrs. Nyal) Deardorff of Yale; brothers, Arthur of Perry and Albert of Yale; several nieces and nephews and many other friend and relatives.
