"Funeral services for Ralph E. Peters were held from the Bagley Church of Christ, October 31 at 2 p.m. with the minister, Rev. Tim Bright, officiating. Mrs. Douglas Becker was organist and the casket was carried by Ivel Carroll, Robert Porter, Lloyd Bullock, Orville Evelsizer, Raymond Peters and Roy Gardner. Interment was made in the Dodge cemetery. Ralph Eugene Peters, son of George and Della Stewart Peters, was born September 23, 1896, in Bagley where he was raised and schooled and continued to live his entire life. July 11, 1917, Ralph was united in marriage with Ada Moore in Bagley. To this union one daughter and three sons were born. Ralph had been a lifetime member of the Chruch of Christ in Bagley. Mr. Peters passed away October 28, 1968, in Colonial Acres in Gowrie at the age of 72 years, one month and five days. He had been preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister. His survivors are his wife, Ada; daughter, Lavonne (Mrs. H. R. Lindberg) of Fort Dodge; three sons, Lt. Col. Vern of Rantoul, Ill; Robert of Sheldon and Ronald of Chicago; two sisters, Julia (Mrs. Charles Truax) of Perry and Cora (Mrs. Oscar Duncan) of Augusta, Mont.; a brother, George, of Bagley; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends."
