Funeral services for Mrs. Orville (Opal) Evelsizer will be held today at 2 p.m. from the Bagley Church of Christ. She died Tuesday at the University Hospital in Iowa City following a long illness. Death was attributed to cancer.
Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ford, she was born July 28, 1908. She first married Art Luxford who preceded her in death.
Officiating at the service today will be Vernon Priest, minister of the church, and Jerry Evelsizer. Organist will be Trudy Maddux. The casket will be carried by Ron Shiflet, Rich Whisner, Don Remele, William Keeble, Oral Bullock and Charles Ford. Interment will be made in the Highland Cemetery.
Besides her husband, Orville, she is survived by daughters, Norma Grassmeier, Bagley; DeLores Hansenm Coeur 'd, Alene, Idaho, and Connie Cox, Ankeny; a son Dean Luxford, Toledo, and a stepdaughter, Sheryl Landals of Perry.
