Funeral services were held from the Fouch Funeral Home in Yale Saturday, December 10, at 10:30 a.m.
for Glenn T, Kalous, 81, whose death occurred Tuesday, December 6 in Gillett, Wisconsin. The Rev Paul Donelson of the United Methodist Church officiated and Mrs. Ardean Winters was organist. Burial was in the Brethren cemetery north of Panora. The casket was carried by Clair Latimer, Erven and Frank Pohl, Guy Middleton, Albert Gilson and Orville Deardorff.
Mr. Kalous was born January 26, 1891, in Barnum, Iowa, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Kalous.
January 1, 1916, he was married to Goldia Goreham.
They lived in the Yale area until 1959 when they moved to Gillett. He was a 50 year member of the Knights of Pythias.
He is survived by sons Muryl of Gillett and Dean of Greenbay, Wisc; eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; a brother Albert of Redfield and sisters Marie Matzke and Gladys Miller of Des Moines and Pearl Dearsall of Arkansas.
