Albert Scheuermann a longtime resident of the Cooper community, died suddenly of a heart attack Tuesday at about 8:30 a.m He was riding in an automobile driven by his brother Walter, when he was stricken. He was pronounced dead when they arrived at the Greene County Medical Center.
A bachelor, Albert had lived with his mother Katy Scheuermann, until the time of her death last year. He had continued to live on the farm with Walter.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson where he was a member. Interment will be made in the Jefferson Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today at 7:30 p.m. at the Slininger Funeral Home in Jefferson where the body will remain until time for the final rites.
Survivors include brothers Roy, George, Walter and Fred of Jefferson; Clarence of Bayard, and Frank of Herndon, and sisters, Mrs. Carl (Marie) Henson and Mrs. Don (Elsie) Hutchinson of Jefferson
