Memorial services for Imogene Ritchie Wright were held in Lompoc, Calif, March 3 at 2 p.m.
Mrs. Wright died February 22 in Santa Maria, Calif, following a 21 year siege with multiple sclerosis. She had been bedfast for the last six years and for two years she had been in a coma. She willed her body to the medical school at the University of California in Los Angeles.
Daughter of T C and Estella Ritchie, Imogene was born August 11, 1927, in Guthrie County. After graduating from Bayard high school she moved to California where she spent the remainder of her life.
Preceding her in death were her parents and a son Ricky.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Rex and Stan Wright, granddaughters, Renee and Dawn Wright and a brother, Willard Ritchie of Guthrie Center.
Mr. and Mrs. Willard Ritchie attended the service in Lompoc. and while in California visted other relatives and friends.
