PANORA, IA. - Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Panora United Methodist Church for Dorothea M. Phipps, 93, of Panora, who died of a heart ailment Wednesday at home. Burial will be in West Cemetery.

Mrs. Phipps, a homemaker, was born in Blair, Neb., and lived in the Panora area since 1915. She was a member of the Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star and Panora Women's Club.

Surviving are a daughter, Lodemia Hartley of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three sisters, Lillian Flynn of Panora and Betty Beers and Clarice Lang, both of Seattle; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at Beidelman Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. ~ The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa Fri 16 Aug 1991.
