Eva May (Kimm) Marean was born in Bear Grove Twsp of guthrie Co. IA. on 8 Aug 1903, the daughter of Henry and Matilda Marten Kimm. She grew up in that area where she attended Providence #9 School. She was married to Kenneth H. Marean on 7 Oct 1925, at Guthrie Center. Eva had helped with the Bethel Woman's Society for many years; was a member of the Jolly Bunch Club and the Near Idle Club in Casey; had enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, sewing, crocheting, knitting, crafts and crossword puzzles. She played the piano and organ and played at the Rest Haven every afternoon. She also spent many hours on genealogy of the Marean and Kimm families. Died 9 Apr 1993, buried at Pleasant Hill Cem. Guthrie co. IA.
