Rites Set Friday For Mrs. Zeltman

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Jan. 24, 2 p.m., at the Assembly of God Church in Eldora for Mrs. Rose Zeltman, 73, who died Tuesday at the Eldora Community Hospital.

Rev. Bruce E. Klapp will officiate at the services, with Barbara, Beverly and Carolyn Zeltman as vocalists. Accompanist is Mrs. Elmer Maynard. Flower ladies are Mrs. Clyde Hixson, Mrs. Harold Lloyd and Mrs. Evan Lyman.

Casket bearers are Gene Balvanz, Larry Balvanz, Lonnie Balvanz, Paul David Balvanz, Tommy Balvanz and Donald Zeltman with interment in the Sheller Cemetery. Longenecker Funeral Home of Eldora is handling funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Zeltman was born May 30, 1895, to Mr. and Mrs. William Squires at Grundy Center. She married William Zeltman on August 26, 1912, in Des Moines. Her husband preceded her in death on May 28, 1966. Mrs. Zeltman, a member of the Assembly of God Church in Eldora, has resided in Eldora for the past 34 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are three children, E. Dale Zeltman of Eldora, Mrs. James (Bessie) Young of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Russell (Verna) Balvanz of Eldora; one brother, David E. Squires of Woodland, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Frank Hooper of Cedar Falls; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
