Mrs. Hazel Benz

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Dunn's Funeral Home on Grand Avenue for Mrs. Hazel Benz, 79, of 2909 Woodland Ave., who died Tuesday at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center of a stroke. Burial will be at the Masonic Cemetery.

A native of Des Moines, Mrs. Benz was a member of the Des Moines Women's Club and Central Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Fred; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Shepard of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Velma Voges of Montebello, Calif.; and a brother, Charles Stroble of Des Moines.

The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to the Central Presbyterian Church or to the Scottish Rite Park Memorial Fund.
