Mina M. Edwards

Mina Mabel Edwards, daughter of William and Amanda Wagner Magers, was born Aug. 27, 1883, in Dana, Iowa, and died Sunday Feb. 2, 1975, at the Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson at the age of 91.

She grew to womanhood in Dana and attended school there.

A prayer service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Slininger chapel in Jefferson. Rev. Frank L. Considine of the United Methodist church in Grand Junction officiated. Interment was in the Le Mars Memorial cemetery. The Slininger Funeral home of Jefferson was in charge.

Mina married William John Edwards on June 5, 1906, at Dana. The couple lived in Le Mars where they resided until Mr. Edwards’ death in 1946.
