MRS. AMELIA HERRMANN OBITUARY

Mrs. Amelia Herrmann, a resident of Hamburg, a resident of more than fifty years ago, passed away at Plattsmouth, Tuesday, Nov. 14. The remains were brought to Hamburg for burial in the Hamburg cemetery beside the grave of her husband. Mr. Herrmann was a cigar maker in Hamburg about the turn of the century.

She was united in marriage to Theodore Herrmann and to this union eight children were born. Two daughters passed way in infancy. She is survived by three sons, Fred of San Acacio, Colo., Leo of Hamburg and Theodore of Mission, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Katie Ritter of Skiatook, Okla., Mrs. Amelia Leisman of Nebraska City and Mrs. Elsie Oslin of Watson; thirty-two grandchildren, forty-nine great grandchildren; one brother, Charles Morgenstern, and a host of friends. Mrs. Herrmann as a member of the Lutheran church.

Funeral services were held Nov. 17, 1950, at 2:30 p.m., at Rash Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. E.O. Douglass, pastor of Locust Grove church.

Emil and Herbert Volkmir, Lawrence, Leo and Lester Oslin and Darrell Herrmann, grandsons, were casket bearers.
