Ice Too Thin,
Truck PlungesRIVERTON, Ia. – Charles Moyer attempted to take a short cut to the highway across the lake near the Lee Edwards farm west of here.
His truck, loaded with wood, crashed through the ice. Moyer summoned help and removed the wood from the truck. A tractor pulled the truck out of the lake.
