SIDNEY ARGUS HERALD May 24, 1951 "SERVICES FOR MRS. N.A. PIERSON SUNDAY" --

Daisy Dell Wilson, daughter of Phylitis and Charlotte Wilson, was born in Chariton, Iowa, on March 9, 1878. She passed away at her home in Sidney on the 18th day of May, 1951, at the age of 72 years, 2 months and 9 days.

On the 27th day of December, 1893, she was united in mariage to N.A. Pierson in Shenandoah. To this union six children were born: Hayden of Kansas City, MO; Wayne of Cherokee; Goldie Booten and Inez Ramsey of College Springs; Mildred Fredrickson of Sioux City; and Dorothy Zach of Sidney, all of whom survive their mother. Her only brother, Walter, preceded her in death.

With her husband she moved to their farm west of Sidney, where she joined the rural community church, remaining a faithful member. Here they reared and educated their six children. In this home they had the privilege of observing their golden wedding anniversary.

Eight years ago they retired from the farm and moved to the present home in Sidney.

Surviving besides her husband and children are ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
