PUPIL OF FIRST FRANKLIN COUNTY SCHOOL IS BURIED
Funeral services for Mrs. Jacob S. Mulkins, 84, pupil of the first school house built in Franklin county, were conducted at the Church of Christ at Hampton and burial was in Hampton cemetery. Mrs. Mulkins’ name before her marriage nearly 60 years ago was Margaret Isabel Craighton. She was one of the pioneers of Franklin county, coming 75 years ago from Ohio when a girl of nine. She is survived by her husband, Joab S. Mulkins, a daughter, Mrs. O. G. Reeve, Hampton, and two sons, David Mulkins, Hampton, and Charles Mulkins, Sheffield, IA.
