Hampton, Ia. – The funeral of Mrs. Emil Fischer, 70, who died Christmas day was held Saturday with services at the home and at St. Paul’s Lutheran church there. Burial was in old Chapin cemetery. She was born in 1865 in Germany and came as a child to the United States. She was married at Ackley in 1890 and lived on a farm near Latimer until her husband’s death in 1931, when she came to Hampton. Survivors are two daughters, Miss Cora and Miss Minna Fischer; a brother and a sister, August Voy, Ackley and Mrs. Jerry Koenan, Latimer. Six sons and daughters preceded her in death.
