The Bronsemas do their bit for their country 1917-1951

Bruno Bronsema enlisted in the Army, April 17, 1917, in World War I. He saw active duty on the Mexican border and in France.

A son, Lester Bronsema, enlisted in the Marine Corps, August 17, 1943, in World War II. He was in active duty in the Pacific area.

A daughter, Miss Dorothy Bronsema, is a cadet nurse in Alaska, working under the government.

Another son, Lyle Bronsema, enlisted in the Marines on January 8th, 1951. He is now in boot training at San Diego, California.

Another daughter, Miss JoAnn Bronsema, is a student nurse at Broadlans General Hospital in Des Moines. After graduation she plans to be a nurse in the United States Nurse Corps.
