January 19, 1895 ---- May 28, 1924

The home of Mr. and Mrs. W. I. McBride was turned into a house of mourning last Wednesday night when
the latter's sister, Mrs. O. F. Lee of Aplington, who was their guest, suddenly passed away. Mrs. Lee had been downtown that afternoon, but was taken suddenly ill in the evening, and passed away about eleven o'clock. The remains were taken to Aplington. The case is a very sad one, as Mrs. Lee leaves besides her husband, two small children.
