Julius Heft (1862-?)
Julius Heft was born in Germany September 14, 1862, and 10 years later he immigrated with his parents, Ernest and Harrietta Kyle Heft to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. In 1875 they moved to Scott township. Julius began farming in 1887, starting with 80 acres, and within a few years had a 620 acre farm. In 1882 he married Anna Kive and they had four children - Roy E., Grover H., Jesse and Gayle. Mr. Heft was a director of the First Ntional Bank, Farmers' Exchange Company and the Rockford Brick and tile Company for many years.
