A. B. Ecker Dies at Chicago Home.
News was received here Tuesday of the death of A. B. Ecker, father of E. C. Ecker of the Leader force, at his home in Chicago. He had been suffering from grippe for a few days and the attacking his heart, resulted in death. He was 79 years of age and was a native of Ohio, but was a resident of Fayette county years ago, and was deputy recorder at the time E. H. Kinyon held the recordership. He had been for 25 years traveling salesman for Acres, Blackmar & Co., at Burlington, and resided there for a number of years, removing t«» Chicago several years ago. His toa1 length of service as a salesman extended over a period of nearly 25 years, dating back to 1869.— Fayette Leader
