Fatal Accident at Oelwein.
Oelwein, Dec. 10.—A. Skrogg, of St. Paul, was instantly killed in this city at 10:30 o’clock this forenoon. He was assisting in the erection of a large icehouse that the Chicago Great Western is erecting here. They had one side of the framework nearly up and it being insecurely stayed, the wind caused it to collapse. In the fall Skrogg was caught and dashed to the ground, a distance of thirty feet. His skull was crushed in on both sides. He leaves a family at St. Paul. The remains will be taken there.
