Head Crushed.
Oelwein, July 17.—Thomas Burk, an employee of the Chicago Great Western Railway, was instantly killed to-day. He was coupling cars when two large timbers on each flat car ran together, crushing Burk’s head. The unfortunate man was about 21 years of age and lived with his widowed mother.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows the name spelled Burke and that he is buried in the Old Catholic Cemetery.
